About Me

Gina started writing when she was 6 years old! An old recording still exists today of her first song, 'The Hedgehog song', which tells the story of a hedgehog who gets run over in a place called Bigglety Town! She started learning piano at about the same age and her love of music soon followed. She picked up an acoustic guitar when she was 15 and taught herself to play...soon realising song-writing came more naturally with guitar in hand. Within a couple of years she was gigging... winning a local Battle of the Bands after just a few gigs. A few years have passed since then, and many more songs have been written. Having gone solo for ages, winning the CRS Best Solo Performer Award in 2002, Gina decided in 2005 that she needed a band... and so she got herself one.
Thing is, Gina doesn't like to be thought of as 'just another singer-songwriter'.... instead she writes and performs music that is full-on passionate, meaningful, kick-ass, but then again gentle and heart-wrenching...none of this arty-farty nonsense.
Get yourself to a gig and see/hear for yourself!
Gina has also started collaborating with Dance DJs, including The Thrillseekers with whom she released a trance single called 'By Your Side' in March 2006, which was highly rated and played by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong and Armin van Buuren. She has also collaborated with Riley & Durrant, who have took some of Gina's songs, Hollow, Magnificent Love and Dead of the Night, and made them...yes.... into dance songs. Hollow was released as a single in 2007.
