About Me

MySpace Profile Editor
"The music industry needs more people like Kog" - Alan Raw, BBC's Raw Talent
"A Great guy with a Great voice" - Alan Davey, Gunslinger
"Kog was hot on his heels, another diamond geezer, destined for greatness. He played a marvellous emotionally charged guitar/vocals set of his own compositions - do me a favour, if you haven't heard Kog, go to his myspace page or get to see him live ASAP" - Sonic World Festivals
"A one man songwriting machine of social relevance, writing songs about women, whisky and politics that hit the nails firmly on the head..."- Richard Burgon, Moncada Rocks
"The dude plays guitar like me, only better" - Maha Dev, Quintessence
A highly acclaimed Yorkshire born singer/songwriter, who has worked in and around some of the greatest bands and performers ever to come from the Leeds/Yorkshire Scene (Stateless, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Dead Pets, Rent)
Over the past 15 years, the style and image has changed drastically, encapsulating elements of all genres, starting with the tribesmen of the african desert and early blues, right through to the industrial sounds of NIN and Joy Division. With the inclusion of new musicians, the sound is now becoming an organic monster that sucks chords in one end, chews them up and spits them right back at you darker than you ever could have imagined.
...seen on the same bills as The Damned, Stateless, Corinne Bailey-Rae, The Fratellis, Alan Davey, Harvey Bainbridge, Shana Morrison (Van's Beautifully talented Daughter)...
...on the beaches of Scarborough (Beached Fest "07), at The World Mountain Board Championships ('04), Headlining slots at the Camden Barfly and Clapham Grand...at bike rallies, in fields and forests...
...endorsed by the likes of BBC's Alan Raw, (ex)Hawkind's Alan Davey, Sonic World Festivals and Maha Dev (Quintessence)
A keen promoter of social networking, Kog also devotes his time to the development of younger/inexperienced UK music and Musicians - for more info. contact [email protected]
