Five Small Ponies

About Me

NEW TUNE At long last there’s something new for you to hear what we’ve been working on for what feels like such a long time. It’s an unfinished track from the new album of Psalms set to contemporary tunes with the full Ponies treatment. Have a listen, and let us know what you think. ---------------------------------------------------

Five Small Ponies are a four piece band based somewhere between the historic and quite lovely city of York and the buzzing sweaty metropolis that is London.

Imagine a fusion of Crowded House, The Soggy Bottom boys, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Counting Crows and The Byrds with a bit of Beach Boys thrown in. Five Small Ponies combine intelligent, bittersweet lyrics with singalong melodies.

Our extensive repertoir of original material includes ballads with sweet harmonies, crazy skiffle and more contemporary... just have a listen and decide for yourself.
