About Me

The InvisAbles, a project that seemed to pull itself together from the start. They are good freinds and share views about the world and it's suffering . Maybe sometime's the world could be projected from our eyes and in front of us the world is of our own making. Sometimes questions are best left unanswered as the individual only has the answer for themselves. Synchronicity has played a key role in the formation of our music with a sense of individual wanting to explore the web of music haunting the depths. We are busy writing at the moment and experimenting with sounds, so the demos on here are really a sketch of what we may sound like as we have come forward since the conception of most of these recording displaying a more experimental stage in our creations . Our sound has changed quite allot since we began and is now turning to a more acoustic sound. I/We are currently recording an album, with some exiting inputs from other artists (which we will reveal when finished, and I am very exited about) The album will be quite collaborative and will involve lots of extra input form other artists - as the The InvisAbles is really a moniker for Roddy's music - with the input of friends old and new.This seems to give our sound a more mellow quality and suits the somber but coming up from air atmosphere of some of our new creations. But at the same time the music seems to be very quiet and minimal the further our journey takes us. It is a dream to be allowed by the universe to create such an open form of writing and to every cosmic entity i have to give thanks as we are only a vessel . Since joining my space we we have received much genuine praise which we thank you all We have recieved lot's of good will and advice from many. We thank everyone and we have some recording to do now with a set of songs that have become even more simple and stripped back. But maybe now a feeling some ground that is not sufforcated by the pavement .

Great voice, great piano playing and nice band name.'Growing up in San Francisco, Reuben studied at alternative music schools with a variety of eclectic and masterful musicians including Tom Constanten, the original keyboardist for the Grateful Dead.A recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship, Reuben studied classical composition and arranging in New York, where he immersed himself in the colorful East Village spectacle of do-it-yourself oddities and legendary avant-garde performers.He entered the downtown scene as the original pianist for Antony and the Johnsons, while completing his own debut album "Dusk." An eclectic blend of electronic samples, R&B flourishes, and strings, "Dusk" received the 2003 Outmusic award for Outstanding Debut Recording.His second album "Golden Boy" was co-produced with Noah Simon (Bill Frisell, Greta Gertler, Susan Tedeschi) and features a duet with Antony.We have a link to his music please have a listen it is wonderful.Also Julianne Regan from All about eve left favorable remarks about our music.Our music seems to be classical avant indie opera pop (at the moment) but this always will change with every song.
