Cellar Door

About Me

Cellar Door are orphans of the moon, Aimee Bridget Grinter and Michael John Brown. We play music because it’s so much more interesting than not playing music, and because the monster under the bed will eat us if we stop.
“Haunting vocals and the sounds of an amazing guitarist wowed the audience, Cellar Door’s performance was exceptional” - croydonmusic.co.uk
“Marvellous and tremendous performance… It’s not just professional musicianship, it’s artistry.” - Chris Welch (Music journalist)
“Absolutely beautiful” - Pegy Gaile (Singer and songwriter)
“Cellar Door is an exceptional guitar and vocal duo. Awesome guitar, insightful songs, and a unique and beautiful vocal. Original, dynamic, authentic, refreshing… These guys are class.” - Karin Karian – (Singer/songwriter and artistic director of Big Stone Music)
“They ply a trade of folk, jazz and volatile moods… ferocious and compelling” - Overplay
“It’s like dreaming but with a guitar and a voice” - Sisamo (Female DJ extraordinaire)
