T-Boy

Although a self-confessed lover of heavy metal and rock music when he was younger, it was when he went to University in 1995 that T-Boy really got into house music. Trips all over the UK to house nights such as Cream and Gatecrasher followed, and it wasn't long after that T-Boy started collecting vinyl. It was mainly as a collector of vinyl that T-Boy moved into DJing, and he's been regularly playing out for over 6 years now, regularly taking control of the decks and the dancefloors at the likes of Sankeys, Chibuku, Pin-Up, Dirty Disco and The Bomb in Nottm. T-Boy has also held residencies at both RudeNot2 and Gatecrasher in Leeds, and played at the infamous BacktoBasics and VeryVeryWrongIndeed after-parties. And as of February 2007, T-Boy is back again as resident at Gatecrasher.
Having co-founded monthly Leeds house night RudeNot2 in October 2003, T-Boy has gone on to play around the country alongside the likes of DJ Touche, Nic Fanciulli, King Unique, Ben Watt, Dave Clarke, Tim Sheridan, Steve Bug, Roger Sanchez - as well as top US house jocks such as Joeski, Q Burns, Jason Hodges and Joey Youngman. Playing with these varied DJs has helped T-Boy to develop a versatile sound, and his sets take in everything from deep house to the more electronic side of house music.
As well as appearing on Galaxy FMs "New Breed" show, T-Boy has also been featured in newspapers and magazines such as DJ Mag, IDJ, Mixmag, The Guardian, Leeds Guide, The Metro.... and he has also won the DJ Mag mix competition.
T-Boy has delved into production over the last few years, having had a successful white label out in 2003, and more recently doing re-edits of tracks for his sets. Expect to hear a lot more from T-Boys production work in the future.
T-Boy also has a monthly residency at Franks Bar in Leeds. The last friday of every month, 'intro' is aimed at those who want a good warm-up to their night out. This is a more eclectic night, with everything from Ame to The Zutons and from Depeche Mode to the Vibe Dealers being played.
