Hmmmm...about me, huh...Well ok.. I'm a writer. Although somewhat anonymous to date. I write for journals that others get to claim authorship of. It's ok...I don't mind...it pays some of the bills & they paid their dues education wise whereas I'm a college drop out.I write other stuff too...just have to get it submitted...I will. As far as beliefs...you would pretty well get the drift if you figured me for a Buddhist...but that's not all of it..You know that old phrase;"Label me & you negate me" I Love to read. It takes me places & into other people's heads...But it's still "All about the Music!" It's a necessity, like oxygen, food, water. All kinds, rock, hip hop, folk, punk, experimental, classical, everything... & always Jazz & Blues...takes me home. So this place has always sorta been a hang out, flop house, 'Animal House", safe Haven, chaos central; home to more than just a few. It's always been like this, first with Shawn, my soul traveler, brilliant & creative confidant,musician, poet, friend, my son.. who gives me inner strength,a refuge, . who knows me @ my core, & keeps me cryin' till I laugh.......& Nate,son, constant companion..comrade, safety valve, has a knack for gently clearing the muddle, the fog, revealing what is, smart, possessing vast integrity, & virtually no self importance..keeps me laughing till I cry, and the definition of a truly good father and a real Dad ...& Aaron , son, poet, story teller, so brave...quiet, bold, so smart (yeah I noticed), subtle, real, straight out...blunt & gentle & hardass & true...constantly amazes me.......and who ALWAYS and ever keeps me real...

With almost each and every deep hurt I have sufferred I have at some point opened my eyes to see my pride right there, front and center, claiming at the minimum, partial credit, and yet, yes, I do still manage to whine on occasion...go figure, (shrug), I love art & poetry & photography & I have "trouble acting normal when I'm nervous", & I love working out, though the asthma has pretty much brought a halt to that and I really miss it!...I like my beer; wanna make me smile; Guinness, Smithwicks, or Amstel Lite...& food...hmm..yeah I love to cook as long as it's creating & not fish filets & fries...Standing rib roasts, Salmon in 4 cheese wime sauce, real Italian spaghetti.., Rainbow trout sauteed in butter & sour cream, Tilapia, Orange Roughy,aflame for just a sec... & pork tenderloin & homemade sauces,& garlic rosemary mashed potatoes, /or wild rice &/or stuffed twice baked potatoes, & calimari & makimaki, & Corn pudding, & spinach & raisin & walnut rasberry salads, & chocolate fondue & white chocolate mousse, & Fettucine Alfredo, & canole's, & tiramisu & wine, & Bailey's & Irish Coffee & expresso, & Cafe au Lait & just coffee, fresh ground, & Margueritas, & Frozen Pina Coladas & frozen Strawberry Daquiris,& Mojitos & Don Perignon & Mudslides (YES!!) & Kahlua & Cap'n Morgans Preferred stock..& Cabo Wabo Gold & Grand Marinier & Cosmos ..ok so you get the picture...no...I'm not an alcoholic... & I love to travel, & other cultures, & history & New Orleans ..I love you, it has to come back, catfish & crawfish etouffee & drive thru Daquiris, (heehee)
& New York...too much to mention...gotta get back soon... & Florida, & Boston & little Italy & ok...I I love to meet people, & experience everything...& meditate & nature & quiet off the beaten path hideaways, & fierce storms, & I don't know...I guess I'm a life glutton...& it's full of sorrow & angst & hurt & Joy & laughter & fun & it's awful & wonderful & I get stalled & paralyzed but there is just too much to stop for very long...ya know...whatever... but the essence of it all is music.
