About Me

I am looking to meet other painters and artists and network with them. More of my art will be presented .. as I complete canvases. I have dozens of paintings and hundreds of un-photographed drawings.
I feel as though I have painted all my life. I remember using those little water color sets when I was six and going through them like candy. No, I didn't eat them, I painted with them.
When I lived in New Orleans around six years of age, I used to paint little swamp images on eight by eleven sheets of cardboard that my father brought home from work. Remember the punchcards for those monsterous computers in the 1970's? I used to draw on the backs of them. I eventually became an engineer, but I never lost my ambition to create beautiful art on anything inappropriate for it.
I am a passionate artist and consider art a labor of love. We can experience what the harmony of the imagination has in store for use as we pass through the days. I am constantly working on something new, so please send me a line and I'll tell you more about what I am all about.
I have a website at Randy Dillon's Art Paintings Follow to there for a place to look at what I do without all the Myspace Ads. It is just a little to oppressive here.

My Interests

Exercise, sexier than sex, art, painting, meeting new people, tickle me elmo, 90's rock music, staying up all night, sleeping in, watching the sun rise, making love during the day, romantic nights, walking on the beach, pleasure, artists, poetry, word-play, fun, adventure, excitement, breaking rules, breaking glass, dropping dishes, having fun, letting go of it and being naked

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet other artists who either live worldwide, or are here local to Texas. New York. Cali.

I would like to do lots of things. Tell me so I am the spectator in your imagination as it comes inspired by the accolades of a poet. Follow the Big River!

Music:

I went down to the crossroads, fell down on my knees.

Movies:

My Online Store is at Randy Dillon dot com Note: Some of the images on my website contain sexual themes. The digital paintings are prints which are not signed or uniquely printed.

Television:

Pablo Picasso, John Currin,Elizabeth Peyton, Henri Matisse, Guston, Pollock, DeKooning, Signac, Seurat, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Basiltz, Basquiat,

Books:

Passion is not a thing which you pursue. It is what chases you on a tired Sunday morning and kicks you out of bed and into the street, sleepy, yawning and barely awake to traffic.

The New Orleans Saints will win the Super Bowl, eventually. I know this.

I like to have a good time. I am a good time kinda guy. Also, I am very sexual.

Heroes:

The Americans who put there life on the line so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have in the greatest country in the world. I was in the Marines for six years, so I know all about this sacrifice.
