New Album:
Sing Along

About Me

Cottrell Gantt’s new full-length album, “Sing Along” contains twelve tracks that are heartfelt, diverse and infectious. The musical performances capture the fun, “try anything” spirit of the recording sessions. Jeremy Cottrell and Jason Gantt draw upon their common influences while incorporating their own style of hooky, melodic songwriting.
Their first EP, “Here I Go”, produced by Jacquire King, was released in the Spring of 2005. It was supported with a successful radio tour and live performances in the southeastern United States.
At a time when labels and artists are releasing singles and hoping they stick, Cottrell Gantt hopes to be a small part of the solution for apathetic consumers. “We’ll continue putting out our best music as long as you, the music industry and buying public, keep trying your hardest not to love it.” :)
“...modern guitar-pop gem."
-T. Ballard Lesseman, Charleston City Paper
“…with a sound that nods to the harmonies of brothers Neil and Tim Finn, while utilizing the hooky power-pop vibes of Del Amitri as a starting point.”
-K. Oliver, Columbia Free Times
"...an interesting mix of pop/rock coupled with sharp—and fun—melodies."
-Jim Campbell, PlaybackSTL
