I am a 27 year old chickiekins from the Boston area who LOVES the local unsigned rock and metal scene. There is nothing I'd rather do than go out and support my friends. There is a lot of respect for them and what they do. So consider this your one stop place for info on all the stuff going on in the scene I can possibly fit here. Check blogs for show info, info on artists, possible interviews etc and check back for new music from local artists. (I'll try to have a new song up every month.) And if you have anything you want me to add don't hesitate to send me a message!

My interview with Steven Scott of Mindset X

LT: What songs do you guys love to play live the most?
Steven: Of course the new stuff, but Ghosts & Atmosphere are up there as well. Its fun to dive into the catalog on occasion as well. You never know what your gonna get. Each show is different.

LT: How did Jerry wind up being known as the guy who doesn't need a microphone?
Steven: He's a loud fuck.

LT: Do you guys think youll ever bring back more G-RX songs live? You guys move so fast with making albums that the fans really didnt get to enjoy GRX live too much and in my opinion that is the best album up to date for you guys!!
Steven: You havent heard the new one yet but thanks lol.

LT: What were you guys hoping to accomplish while making the new album? Did you accomplish what you set out to?
Steven:Yes. the new CD is pure unrushed MSX.

LT: What is the best thing about being in Mindset-X?
Steven:the ability to create something and not worrying about if its pop friendly.

LT: What is in your CD player right now?
Steven: I have an Ipod so uh....everything. I listen to everything.

LT: If you guys could go on a world tour and open for any band who would it be and why?
Steven: Rush.

LT: Were you before MSX?
Steven: I was in 2. Salem and Saje.

LT: What influences you guys to write?
Life.

LT: What influences you guys to play?
Steven: I love what I do. Its in my blood. I tried to quit. It didnt work.

LT: What will it take to get you guys to play Eye Of The Tiger? Steven promised!! and I held up my end of the bargin didnt I Steve?
Steven: Someday it'll happen at the right show.

LT: How far do you think you guys have come since your days of first starting out as a band?
Steven: We are 50x times better than we were.

LT: What does the future hold for mindset-x?
Steven: We're gonna keep doing what were doing. Hopefully people dig it. Id love a world tour and to live off what we do.
