--Biography--
Archaic Cessation formed out of Phoenix Arizona in the winter of 2005. Since forming, the band has helped bring clean vocals back into the metal community in the state of Arizona. They mix death metal with metal-core, and a bit of old school thrash to make up there own sound. Combining metal riffs and breakdowns with melodic singing, Archaic Cessation has started a genre of their own.
Despite the band going through a ton of lineup changes, founding guitarist Jerry Bryant and bassist/vocalist David Bryant have always remained in the group. After a frustrating search for a guitarist in October of 2007, Torbjorn Nordgaren stepped out of the shadows and joined the band as the second guitarist. The band went until January of 2008 without a drummer and then Kevin Phelps came out of nowhere and became Archaic Cessation’s drummer.
