Suckafish P Jones has performed throughout Australia, Japan and Europe, bringing his riot-inducing riddims and shuddering bass to venues as diverse as clubs, pubs, public toilets and major highways. Emerging from Brisbane's electronic and mutant hip hop underground, cutting his jagged teeth as regular soundmurderer for clubs such as 610, Baconfat Synaptic Uprock and Trundle Clack All-Stars, Suckafish has continued to hone his sound supporting a creamy crop of Australian and International acts including Various Productions, Ove-Naxxx, Flying Lotus, Melt Banana, Monster Zoku Onsomb, Candy Hank, Buck 65, Hrvatski, Combat Wombat, DJ Punksi, Toxic Lipstick, Filastine and many more. Suckafish P Jones is proud to announce the release of his new mini - album, ’Mr Cloak and Dagger’. Drawing on influences from Grime, jamaican bashment, low slung hip hop and fried electronics, ’Mr Cloak and Dagger’ is dense with bass, beats and plenty of handclaps. Featuring Suckafish on production duties and vocals, there are guest appearances from Potato Master, Babymachine and Dragonfly throughout the CD. Defintely left of centre and off-kilter, this CD sets Suckafish apart from hip hop and dance music cliches on the mission to redifining the musical agenda rythmically, subsonically and lyrically, one pair of ears and booty cheeks at a time.
