The Nam Shub of Enki stands for a Sumerian myth in which God punishes the people by deriving them from their ability to understand language. The Nam Shub is the magic formula with that. Linguistic despair, as we know in the western world from the bible through the comparable legend of the tower of Babel. The Nam Shub of Enki is also an Australian electronic project that stands for a very eclectic approach in music with an emphasis on bass and beats. The Nam Shub Of Enki has built up a reputation as DJ, producer and energetic performer in Australia and abroad. He was also present on the latest snog recording Vs The Faecal Juggernaut of Mass Culture. Musicwise this new album of The Nam Shub of Enki goes from industrial to drum 'n bass, techno, dub and electro. Big beats can be heard in the rocking 'Coldrock'. There is some 80's electro in the remix of the 8 bit electro track 'Fantasy' which originally is from Goto80 from Sweden. You will hear some world music, ragga and a collaboration with the Finnish hiphop crew of Notkea Rotta and the Australian emo band Nation Blue are not refrained from either. Destroy Everything has the eclectic approach comparable to the music of Bong-Ra. In the first track 'The Prisoner' a guest part is reserved for David Thrussel (Snog, Black Lung) who has delivered spoken word in this track. The last track 'Berzerkey' is a co-production with the industrial-techno grindcore terrorists of The Berzerker. Destroy everything is an adventurous breakcore album that goes a step further than you would expect of a breakcore recording. Truly crossing boundaries. Recommended to people who have had it with the conventional rules of dance music.

This album breaks many rules. It also sets many new standards. How many times have we read that?! Finally an album that delivers to the very last note. To call it original would be a gross understatement. Although operating heavy machinery (while being seduced - and yet physically violated at the same time by KiKi/Ill's own brand of truly mental breaks mayhem is not advisable.
