(rant)Looking out (using my eyes) I can see masses of energy taking on various manifestations of light and sound, and regularly ponder upon the lack of existing differences between them, despite their varied forms. The artist that looks into the world and sees themselves as essentially non-existent can truly manipulate these forms into recycled fluxes of energy, imprinting their creations with the essence of their own being. In doing this, the artists being is extended through their art, and travels towards others in the form of light and/or sound. This new energy eventually binds with the intended target (humans) effecting the universe in small and profound ways. Maybe.My name is Thom Browning and I am an emerging performer, musician and sound designer based in Brisbane, Australia. I am a co-founder of Imaginary Theatre, a company specialising in creating performance and workshops for children. I work in varied capacities from sound design to arts admin to funk bass to children's theatre, in Australia and more recently in Asia.
