Pennsylvania Needs Help Identifying Missing Persons

According to the Pennsylvania State Police Website, these unidentified people need your help in finding their families or someone who knows who they are so they can be at peace and not be known as just the unknown.

On August 21, 2001, the body of an unidentified black woman was found along Quarry Road about 1/2 a mile from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

According to authorities the woman who is between the age of 25-36 years-old was found in the weeds about 20 feet off the road. Authorities state that she had been stuffed inside a large black plastic bag and was in the fetal position. Although she had decomposition, the coroner did say that she had no tattoos or marks on her body. The woman was around 110-130 lbs., short curly black hair, with a bra size of 36-C. At the time of her death the woman was wearing zebra striped panties, a multicolored bandanna, and a pair of gold colored hoop earrings. Her fingernails and toenails were painted purple at the time of her recovery. The coroner did say that the woman had no drugs or alcohol in her blood at the time of death. On June 26, 1998, the body of a woman whose race, age and ethnicity is unknown due to decomposition was found at the Pine Grove Landfill in Pine Grove Township, Pa.

Authorities believe that the body of the woman had been put inside of a trash hauler outside of the Schuylkill County area. Once police recovered the body, it was transported to the Pottsville Hospital where an autopsy was scheduled. The autopsy concludes that the woman is more than likely white, probably 30 years-old or older. Results also show that the woman had a C-section at one time. The autopsy results show that the woman died from suffocation or drug abuse. More tests are being done to determine the exact cause of death. The victim does have a tattoo on her left ankle that says BENJI with a heart that dots the I. On November 3, 1995, a hunter hunting in the wooded area south of Township Road in Lower Turkeyfood Township, came across the skeletal remains of a white male between the age of 30-50 years-old.

According to authorities, the man had been shot two times in the head. At the time of his death the man was wearing tan Genuine Country Road Pants, a light colored Claiborne button down shirt, and a light colored Claiborne pullover sweater. All clothes were of medium size. Autopsy results revealed very high quality dental work had been done on the victims teeth, which according to the coroner had been done one year prior to his death. It is also estimated that the victim had been in the woods over a year before being found. On July 11, 1995, the nude torso of a woman was found in a maroon suitcase covered in a trash bag along the Brandywine Creek in Downington, Pa.

Authorities believe that the victim had been deceased for only three to seven days when found. She is believed to be around 23-35 years-old, between 4'11-5'3", possibly 120-140lbs., with brown eyes and pierced ears. On January 19, 1996, trash bags with skeletal eyes and legs were also found in the Cores Creek State Park in Middletown Township by Bucks County, Pa. Some other items such as clothing, and bed sheets were found as well. According to the coroner, cause of death was due to homicidal violence.
