A self-fulfilling prophecy of endless possibility.

About Me

Alright, so I’m coming to the end of my second college experience, and should soon have a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management Degree, with some extra education in Gaming & Simulation. My main goal for this year is to obtain a career opportunity where I can utilize my education, experience, and overall creative personality & vivid imagination in the video game / entertainment field. The immediate plan is to start off as a game tester, and then work my way up to other things such as video game artist, video game writer, video game designer, or possibly even a video game producer. I haven’t completely ruled out other entertainment venues, but after years of working various jobs and projects, I’m trying to focus on one area rather than too many. After all, I’m not getting any younger!
If you’re an employer reading this and wondering what I have to offer, I’ve been the leader and team member of many things over the years, and the feedback I’ve received has been wicked positive; magnetic character that people like working with, enjoys challenges and new adventures, open to suggestions while staying diplomatic, passionate about creating things that are both fun and profitable, and so on. Reasonably intelligent and imaginative, I often find solutions that are as surprising as they are successful.
Overall, I’ve been a fan of gameplay and storytelling all my life. I’ve seen hundreds of movies of all genres, read many stories, seen countless television shows, played many games, and watch select podcasts whenever I can. The thought of creating characters, stories, and dynamic gameplay for a living is one I can’t let go of; I harbor a deep desire to throw myself into a career in which I can feel passionate about and be great at. FYI, I generally fall in the influence catagory; optimistic, extrovert, emotional, intuitive, feeler, perceiver, and am not afraid of options or change. I've been described as a good guy who's rough around the edges, but I'm always there for the people I care about. I've had a colorful work history & a bizarre life in general, so if you want someone normal, go somewhere else. If you want someone funny, quirky, genuine, outgoing, influential, and interesting, then I'm your man.
"Passion, it lies in all of us, sleeping... waiting... and though unwanted... unbidden... it will stir... open its jaws and howl. It speaks to us... guides us... passion rules us all, and we obey. What other choice do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love... the clarity of hatred... and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion maybe we'd know some kind of peace... but we would be hollow... Empty rooms shuttered and dank. Without passion we'd be truly dead."~Angelus
"The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences."~Eleanor Roosevelt
"The sick do not ask if the hand that smoothes their pillow is pure, nor the dying care if the lips that touch their brow have known the kiss of sin."~Oscar Wilde

My Interests

I submitted a game I made to YoYo Games, and I'm hoping it’ll soon be available for you to play for free. Check back for details.

"Abandon the urge to simplify everything, to look for formulas and easy answers, and to begin to think multidimensionally, to glory in the mystery and paradoxes of life, not to be dismayed by the multitude of causes and consequences that are inherent in each experience -- to appreciate the fact that life is complex."~M. Scott Peck

"The little things? The little moments? They aren't little." ~John Zabat-Zinn

"Most of the critical things in life, which become the starting points for human destiny, are little things."~R. Smith

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."~Robert Brault

I'd like to meet:

I've met some pretty amazing people over the years, and I plan on meeting many more. As for meeting the right woman, maybe someday. I want something real.

"I'm just personally not into loveless sex. Is it gay to say love turns me on sexually?"~Sarah Silverman

"It is not the lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages."~Friedrich Nietzsche

"Where there is no exaggeration there is no love, and where there is no love there is no understanding."~Oscar Wilde

Music:

I love all kinds of music. My favorite is Alternative.

“Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it.”~Helen Keller

“Insisting on perfect safety is for people who don’t have the balls to live in the real world.”~Mary Schafer

Movies:

I LOVE watching movies. According to Netflix, I've rated almost a couple thousand of them.

"I have been drunk more than once and my passion borders on madness. I regret neither."~Johann W. von Goethe

"Do I contradict myself? Very well, then, I contradict myself. I am large, I contain multitudes."~Walt Whitman

Television:

I have my favorites, and I luvs my podcasts & dvds. Joss Whedon does some great stuff!

"The future influences the present just as much as the past."~Friedrich Nietzsche

Books:

Most of the time I'm reading graphic novels, like "Y: The Last Man" from Vertigo.

“I never let my schooling interfere with my education.”~Mark Twain

“Proverbs often contradict one another, as any reader soon discovers. The sagacity that advises us to look before we leap promptly warns us that if we hesitate we are lost; that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but out of sight, out of mind.”~Leo Rosten

Heroes:

My Mom is my hero.

“What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”~Richard Bach

"Those who dance are called insane by those who don't hear the music."~Eddie Vedder
