About Me

I am a substitute teacher Known as Mr.Big Jon. I substitute teach all over Cullman County. I am an active member of West Point First Baptist Church. I love teaching 7th-9th grade guys, doing accountability with my best friend Alex , and being the gopher for the West Point staff. I love Tennis with a passion if you ever want to play look me up. I like tennis becauses its the only place I get LOVE and if I mess up I will claim it's not my FAULT haha. I love to laugh, have fun, and make sure everyone around me is enjoying life. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT ME IS MY RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. My question for you is what are you relying on to get you to Heaven? For years I thought being a good and religious person was going to get me there. I was raised in a church, baptized, read the Bible, prayed, and had communion but if I were to have died before April 4th 2004 I would have not gone to Heaven but ended up in Hell. It was that day I stop trying to earn my way to Heaven which is impossible and repented of my sins and placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ for my salvation. The Bible says that it is not by religious works which we are saved (Titus 3:5) and also the Bible says all our religious works are like filthy rags covered in human waste to God (Isaiah 64:6)) and the Bible also says For by Grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). There is not one thing you can do to earn your way to Heaven stop trying through your religious works to get there it is like a slap in the face of God. We are sinners When you lie, steal, cheat, lust after a beautiful guy (such as myself) or girl, disobey your parents, have feelings of hate towards others, and misuse Godâ€™s name that is sin which goes against God. Our sin separates us from God and the price of our sin is death separation from God in Hell (Romans 6:23). But God does not want anyone to go to Hell He loves you (yes the one reading the words on the computer screen) so much that He sent Jesus Christ to take your place on the cross (Romans 5:8). Jesus was bloodied and tortured on the cross and killed for you. Then He rose again defeating death proving He was Gods Son and making a way for you to come to God. If you simply repent of your sins and tell Jesus you trust in Him for your salvation and that you believe He died and rose again for you then not only does the Bible say your sins will be forgiven but you will receive ever lasting life. It is that simple but the choice is yours accept Jesus Christ for your salvation are reject Him and die separated from God. I challenge you to give your life to Him today. I love long walks on the beach and pretty sunsets just kidding. Student ministries floats my boat, burns my barn, tickles my fancy..ok you get the picture. I love working with Warriors for Christ in the middle school their an awesome bunch of teens and I am so blessed to be able to have the chance to pour into their life. I also love accountability with Alex. He might never know it but he helps me so much more than I believe I help Him. I love my 7th through 9th grade Sunday school class. Between random field trips, crazy lessons, and eatins junk food while watching videos we have a lot of fun. Thank you to Debbie for always being what a friend should be not treating me like a jerk. I will always remember getting to speak for you @ senior night I mean I did do the best speech which made you look really good.

Books:

well, there is this good book about a awesome King who had this Kingdom and all the people loved him. Well, for some reason the people got stupid and rebelled and so the King had to have them all banished from his presence. The King hated this because he wanted to be with them but because of their rebellion he couldn't. Well, this went on for long time but then the King's only son felt compassion for the people. He went to where they were spent time with them and tried to get them to change their ways so they could be back with the king. The son went to the king and said I will take what they deserve so that all of them can come back. So the king very sad about losing his son, but let this be done. The son suddenly was rejected by the people and they killed him. Well, it was the death of the son that was what the cost of the punishment was to deliver the people. The son did not stay dead though the son came back to life and gave hope to all the people. So who ever would follow him would be brought back to the kingdom. The name of the book is "The Bible" awesome book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
