"Against the Grain" - Bad ReligionWhat's up? My name is Lauren and I'm 16 years old. I have Cerebral palsy. I'm Straight Edge and a deist. I'm in the National Honor Society. I love Politics and Punk Rock music. I'm Liberal. My main goal in life is to make a significantly positive change. I'm sick of all the violence, intolerance, and overall close-minded attitude of the world. I'm am also tired of apathetic youth. I think young people have more power than we think and if we work together we can better the world we live in. Punk Rock is here to create positive change. That is my interpretation of what being Punk is all about!
I am mainly interested in punk rock, world events and politcs. In college I would like to major in Poltical Science, or Journalism. When I'm albe to mantain a steady job I'd like to be a political activist. I want to get people my age educated in what's going on in the world. People always tell me they don't care. If they only realized how much government policies do affect us all they would care. Aren't you sick of how things are right now? Or are you going to sit around and do nothing? Change starts with one so I suggest you go out there and do something! Words don't mean much uness you are willing to act. Direct action gets the goods. I'm not here to beat you over the head with my beliefs. I just want you to think!
