Geof formed The Orange State after years of trying to form full rock bands that shared his desire to tour and record. So instead of continuing the search of musicians in the cesspool of classified ads he decided to go it alone with his acoustic guitar. Now he's back and performing regularly around coffee houses and small venues around the Phoenix area.The Orange State is currently in the process of recording a full album to be released in early 2008. The album will just be voice and guitar but filled with melody and hooks that will be stuck in your head for days. Lyrically it will have songs dealing with anger, self loathing, loneliness and other stuff Geof can't afford to tell his shrink. At the moment they have a two song self titled EP that fans can purchase on the bands My Space page. After the album is complete The Orange State will be on the road to promote it.
