Warm in the hands, whole in the heart.

About Me

The Human Echo formed in the summer of 2003. Their music has been described as an interesting amalgam of styles; dreary, haunting and swelling with colorful melodies capable of establishing a clear and hypnotizing image. The first full-length LP (Sonic Blanket) released in 2004 discharged more "headphone candy" to the southeast as eloquently stated by Scott Herald in the review he wrote for the Weekly Planet which the group followed with an east coast tour. The opportunity to gain exposure on the west coast and the more concentrated amount of scene support has led the group to transition their base of operation to Seattle. Recording a second album (carried on by voices in a song) featuring a more dynamic sound integrating a greater respect for driving riffs and embriotic ambiance fused with drifting melodies has embedded them in the Seattle scene gaining accolades and acclaim as an exciting act to hear. Their first west coast tour was set to be a breakout for the group, but their van exploded just two dates in and the whole tour had to be scrapped. The group returned to Seattle and immediately began gearing up for another tour in the fall. Equipped with a solid full length recording and a new van, the Human Echo finally blazed out a successful tour of the west coast. Currently they are preparing to tour in the spring and head into the studio to work on their third full length album.
