About Me

(Profile soon to be updated -- most of this information is 3 years old!)
Lea WhiteFeather is a Metaphysical Practitioner who began her conscious foray into Spirituality in her college years. Her studies inspired her, in 1997, to co-found the University of the Philippines Paranormal Society with a friend. To further train childhood abilities and maximize exposure to the mystical world, she has worked as assistant to a psychic researcher, as well as attended numerous talks, seminars, courses and classes on a plethora of subjects, from Reincarnation to Psychic Development to Spiritual Healing to Communicating with Spirit. Lea is a healer (initiated Level 2 Reiki), certified Angel Therapy Practitioner® and artist with an education in Art History; she conducts workshops on a variety of topics, such as Practical Spirituality and Developing Intuition to lead a healthier, happier, more fulfilled life. Her journey towards wholeness is the focus of an upcoming book. 2008 marks the 12th year since Lea began her professional practice. Among the services she offers, aside from facilitating workshops, are Intuitive Oracle Card Readings, and Personalized Channeled Sessions, where she utilizes her girlhood ability of communicating with Spirit, as well as allowing herself to be an instrument for the love and light of Source. Watch for her debut as a published author. Lea is currently based in California.

A few artists I dig off of the top of my head are U2, The Doors, John Lennon, George Harrison, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, David Bowie... I could name many more but as a singer and music lover I could go on and on as I am very much open to, and appreciative of, a wide variety of sounds.

Metaphysical-themed films like The Secret, What the Bleep Do We Know?, Groundhog Day, Meet Joe Black, The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Sixth Sense, Somewhere In Time, Chances Are, What Dreams May Come, all three Back to the Future flicks, those on www.spiritualcinemacircle.com, fantasy/mythological/historical epics like Amadeus, Troy, Merlin (with Sam Neill in the title role), Legends of the Fall, The Three Musketeers, The Man in the Iron Mask, Elizabeth, Jose Rizal (as portrayed by Cesar Montano), Cold Mountain, The Prince of Egypt, The Mummy and its sequel, The Scorpion King, the LOTR trilogy, Jesus (starring Jeremy Sisto), intelligent thrillers like The Green Mile, Dolores Claiborne, The Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs trilogy (the first is my favorite - followed by Red Dragon - then Hannibal), laugh-out-loud comedies like Eurotrip, White Chicks, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, also Disney's animated feature films, Johnny Depp's, Jude Law's, Orlando Bloom's, John Cusack's, Audrey Tautou's, Angelina Jolie's, 8 Mile, A Walk to Remember, Splash, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spider-Man 2, and many more along the lines of those mentioned here.

Heroes:

I wouldn't call them heroes - just beings I am fascinated by... Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Nikola Tesla, Leonardo DaVinci, Michelangelo, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette (a woman greatly maligned by history), Abraham Lincoln, George Harrison, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Marilyn Monroe, Elphaba from Gregory Maguire's "Wicked," and the Philippines' own Jose Rizal (check out his life story, or look for the movie starring Cesar Montano - I dare you to not be inspired), among others I'll add when they come to mind...
