About Me

N E W S

We are Outline from Prestwich, Manchester, and we love nuns. Also to be quite frank we’re a little bit fed up with the fact that there seems to be a lot of pussies trying to take over the music industry. Regarding our band, style and way of life at this point just to be clear-

NO SKINNY JEANS

NO COMB-OVERS

NO FUCKIN’ FASHION

So if you shop at topshop then we’re probably talking to you sonny jim.

Help us support music thats about rocking, rolling, drinking and NOT getting a lift to your gig in your mum’s merc.

WE’RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A NEW VIDEO FOR DEPRAKOTE FEATURING THE EXPLOITS OF THE LEGENDARY LONESOME TRAMP OF HARWOOD, DIRECTED BY THE ONE AND ONLY ANDY MCKEE, WATCH THIS SPACE....

THANKS TO THE MIGHTY DEL FOR THE PICS OF THE STUDIO GIG!

We’ve recently just teamed up with Wreckin Bar Media, a new record label which shares our approach towards the best straight up no-nonsense against the grain music. Like most bands we belong on stage, playing shows all over the north west, and having the oppurtunity to share the stage with an excellent bunch of peer and legends over the years, including the mighty Billyclub, TheBastardSonOfCharlieBrown, BlackJackson, New yorks finest WoodenGhost, JupitarSands, WheelsOfConfusion, and many more. The music is the first and last reason we do this, and we’re proud to be part of such a vibrant alliance of bands in manchester and the north west. Thanks to everyone who’s come down had a beer, had a jam, smoke or a fight with us, heres to many more in the future.....

Here is what a few kind souls have to say about our humble efforts......

"Everybody Loves You is a rockin’ song, the guitars are awesome. reminiscent of early grunge and 90’s rock (Kyuss, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana). Action Man carries more of a punk rock vibe, thick guitars, great vocals. Really the whole mix sounds very good" - cape fear studios

"its what you’d call joyful stomping rock music, rumbling along with a natural punk twist" - xfm

"Grungy, catchy and noisy with a nice bit of melody" - the cheesepress

Influences: nirvana, qotsa, ratm, tool, flakeman, system of a down, pantera, black sabbath, iron maiden, rancid, propaghandi, clutch, down, the boiling heads, buckethead, aldous huxley, william blake, the piss and shit machine, wakan tanka, shane meadows, martin scorsese, travis bickle, jenna jameson, all the wanky bands we've played with who should have spent money on guitar lessons instead of hairspray.....
Sounds Like: punk without the tartan, safety pin, fashion bollocks, purely because its the only scene thats really taken us in as one of their own, very open minded compared to most "scenes" which are really just cliquey little daddys boy clubs with leather and studs.
We are outline and we've come to scare your gran.
