T.C. Smith

I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I love most styles of music. Over the years I have played shows at just about all the major venues in Toronto, places like the Molson Amphitheater, Ontario Place, and the Masonic Temple (Concert Hall) and many clubs past and present. I have also done various radio and television shows in the past. I have appeared on various TV shows on Omni 1,Much Music, MTV, TV Polonia and City TV. I have played on the Hungamafest @Dundas Square in front of thousands of people in 2006. The fist radio experience I have had was on a call-in radio show on CFRB radio when I was 15.With Shangrila, I have had material played on Edge 102.1; we also played live to air in their studio(3/4 of the line-up is in Krakatoa). I have recorded cd's with Shangrila (Balance the Darkside), and Trechcoat Yuppies (Follow Along-*only guitar solos), Dementia, Fleshless, Choasmongers + a demo with Dragonslayer/Valkyries Cry(unreleased). I have been playing in clubs since I was 14 years old. I have also played drums in a few bands too (Impaled Hitler, Valkyries Cry);I am not that great, but what the fuck. I have played all sorts of styles ranging from jazz to rock to death metal to experimental weird shit, plus on an old buddy's techno stuff(didn't really like the music, but it was kinda fun). I am the lead guitarist in the "Skorched" with Fernando Villalobos(drums), Darryl Cowgill(bass),and Devin Legge(guitar). We play techical thrash/power/death/classic metal.
