About Me

I'm a musician that was born twenty years too late... I'm bass player who learned cello first. I can play keyboards. I have also been known to do backup vocals.

I taught myself bass, after learning musical theory from seven years of organ lessons and five years of cello lessons. I can read and write music, and can transcribe by ear. When I first was learning bass, my dad gave me two albums to learn; "Are you experienced?" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and "Wheels of Fire" by Cream. My passion is to follow the music and career of Geezer Butler, one of the founding members of Black Sabbath, and who was influenced by Jack Bruce, bass player of Cream. I am also interested in all music of that genre from that time period, such as Pentagram, Leaf Hound, and St. Vitus, as well as newer bands that possess the same sound, such as Orange Goblin, Trouble and Witchcraft.
I love playing bass and am open to jamming, original ideas, and session work.
Bands I have played with in the past include:Keef, Sun of Sabbath, Paranoid, Louis Godfree Band, Bound Ether, Broomfiller, Stress Rehearsal (in aid of Bakkerfest), Visions Of the Night, and Machu Picchu.
