About Me

Meky Žbirka - Atlantida (philosophical song)

Age: nice :o)
Colour of my eyes: green - brown
My hair: brown
Skin: orange with green points
Weight: light :o) (o:
Height: small
I'm a non-smoker
I'm not drug addict
I drink soft drinks only ;o)
I'm almost vegetarian since my 15's ("almost" because I eat fish sometimes) because I love animals.

I love: teas!!! My no. 1 is YERBA MATE (Ilex paraguariensis - Paraguay tea). My next favourite teas are Pu-Ehr, Rooibos, Lapacho, Yogi Masala and Sahlep.

My favourite meals: PIZZA, vegetables with a rice, crepe with a marmelade, potato pancakes, pea-soup, bananas, apples, fresh ginger, cinnamon. B-)

Other things I like: the sea (but for the Czechs is the sea precious, we don't have any) :-(

I don't like: lies, violence, injustice, testing on animals, racism, comercial life style (including the Mc Donalds and KFC). Then the World Bank and the International Monatary Fund along with multinational companies - I think about them that they help to keep poverty and starvation in the Third World.

I'd like to visit:

Egypt, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba (island of freedom).

My dreams:

If it is possible I would like to visit ancient Egypt.

My child's dream has stayed in me: I would like to see America before the Colombian destruction.

If it is possible I would like to see my grandmama again (but I know I will meet her in next life).

My Interests

Egyptology - I have been interested in ancient Egypt since the age of 15.

Indians - I have been admiring North American Indians (I'm sorry...the Native Americans, I know! ;o)) since I was 6 years. Later I also became interested in the Latin American Indians and their cultures.

Books:

Ancient Egyptian "The Book of the Dead" - the original sacral ancient Egyptian texts which were translated and written by J. Kozák.

"Circle without End" (ethic of the North American Indians) by Frances G. & Gerald Scott Lombardis. My favourite quotes from the book:
„Sometimes they can wish you for their son in law. But if you date one girl and at the same time you are interested in many others, they will think you are a nobody.“ Harry Lincoln,Meshkwa'kihûg' (= red-earth people) - the Fox
„Get to know a boy as best you can before you begin to admire him too much. A very good looking boy can have just a beautiful face.“
A saying, N'de, Dinë, Tinde, or Inde (= people) - the Apache
„People in their loneliness have a tendency to drive away others, because they are afraid. These people desire an understanding. Give them the understanding and they will accept your company.“ Hawk, Apsáalooke or Absároke (= children of the large-beaked bird) - the Crow
„In every man is a reflection of a woman and in every woman is a refletion of a man. Every man as well as woman also reflect an old man and an old woman, a little boy and a little girl.“ Hyemeyhosts Storm, Iñunaina (= our people) - the Cheyenne
„I have never had a woman who would think like me. It‘s like a puzzle game. If you know nothing about it, you guess wrong and you lose.“ Old Mexican, Diné (= people) – the Nabajo (Navajo)

"Cerwuis, aneb z Paseka do Paseka oklikou pres stredni Evropu" (Cerwuis, or from Pacheco to Pacheco, taking a roundabout way around Central Europe) by Alberto V. Fric. Content: Fric got to know that the Indian tribe Chamacoco (which he lived with for some time) had became ill. The people of the tribe were dying. He came to help them. The tribe decided to choose a volunteer who will go with Fric to look for a doctor. It was Cerwuis who was chosen. The doctors in South America didn't find a medicine. The same result was in North America. But then Fric had to go to Europe. Finally he took Cerwuis with him to Bohemia. It took some time (approximately 1 year) than the cause of Chamacoco's illness was found. A young scientist-scholar found the cause by a chance. The illness was caused by an unknown kind of parasite. "The medicine" was a strong laxative which deprived the body of all the parasites. After this procedure Cerwuis quikly began to get well. Then Fric bought the reserves of this laxative and set out on a journey to Gran Chaco (Paraguay) along with Cerwuis. He was successful. The tribe was healed.
"Les Egyptiennes" (The Egyptian Women) - Christian Jacq.

The books about an astrologie (European, Chinese, Celtic, ancient Egyptian, ...)
