Hi, we are Eric & Kali Taylor, and we're the co-creators of www.ExperienceWealthyLiving.com . If our names sound familiar, it's because we're kind of known as overnight internet celebrities. We also used to work for Jeffery & Erica Combs, so that could be it too.
We are both 22 and love to be outside. We just moved back to Minnesota after spending a couple years living in California and working with Jeffery & Erica Combs. Last winter we spent almost every Sunday snowboarding at Kirkwood (the best ski resort in Tahoe!) Now that we're back in Minnesota, we've been spending the summer building our business and playing with our friends and family.
Ever since Eric was a baby, he was attending network marketing events with his parents. From Amway to Primerica to Pre Paid Legal to Body Wise. So, it's no suprise that when he grew up, he thought he was going to become a millionaire by the time he was 20. Well, lo and behold that didn't happen. What did happen was he sturggled with traditional prospecting and couldn't convince anybody to sign up with him.
Meanwhile, we met in junior high and started dating in 11th grade. One night Eric called me after a very motivating and hyped-up event convinced he was about to be the next superstar in his company, and we were never going to have to work another day in our lives. My first reaction was, "Oh great, this is like Amyway," but I stood up with his dreams. Again, that didn't happen.
So, after high school Eric got a job (because he hated school) while Kali went on to college. He ended up hating his job so incredibly much that he decided to go to school since that was the lessor of the two pains. At the same time, he hired Mr. Jeffery Combs to coach him with his own money. Jeff was so impressed with Eric that he asked him to more to Califronia to work with him...(afterall, $2,000 is a lot of money for a 19-year-old kid who doesn't have a job!). After I graduated from college, we got married and I joined Eric working for Jeff and Erica in California.
The information that we learned from them is so absolutely invaluable. Working in a millionaire's house for two years, we were bound to learn something, right? We not only learned great things from them, but we also met some of the most amazing people! People who were so amazing that they took us under their wings and taught us what they knew (and we weren't even on their team)!
So, when we decided that we wanted to move home, we had no clue what we were going to do. Our last day of work was a Wednesday. So, Tuesday night we picked up our trusty Penske truck, and early Thursday morning we were on the way home. The excitement of being with friends and family left us worry-free. Well, about a week after we got into our new place, reality set in. Our bank account was being filled anymore...but the bills were still coming in. After working and learning from Jeff, neither of us could imagine getting a job. With all we learned, it was almost an insult to think that we would have to get another j-o-b.
So, we started searching online for something we could do. We found a couple good franchises that were relativley affordable, and we were excited about them. But, after a couple weeks thinking about it, they just weren't in line with what we had learned from all the multi-millionaires that we had met and become friends with. Then, Eric started using Kali's dad's lawn mower to start creating an income. Only problem was, gas prices started to sky rocket. A LOT of profit was being pumped into the gas tanks. Every time he filled the tanks, it was like mowing people's lawns for free. Working without getting paid was not what we were looking for! Eric was frusturated and broken hearted at the thought Kali might have to get a job.
And all that changed when we got a call from California. "I'm in a company!" It was the call that changed our lives. Now we're living the life of our dreams! Luckily, neither of us like getting up in the morning...so we get to sleep as late as we want! In fact, we haven't used an alarm clock since we moved (when I hear my alarm clock I just cringe). If we told you how much we make, you wouldn't believe us!
