About Me

My name is Carol Harse and I'm living the best days of my life - in a place that is PARADISE for me. I really do appreciate the tropical weather, the year-round pool and the sunshine here. I just can't imagine a better place on earth than this small seaside city - there is something wonderful about the feel and smell of the sea air.
I grew up on the eastern end of Long Island, NY in a little village, called East Quogue by the early native Americans. It was in the middle of "the Hamptons", potato farms and woods back then, and I walked solitary in those woods often, just admiring the majesty of tall oaks and pines.
Seasonally I loved picking the wild blueberries. Summers were times for family camping trips - and plenty of swimming - lake, bay, ocean or backyard pool. (I miss the days of two good feet, but still enjoy being in the water!)
The summer of 1962 was a grand adventure - a trip in a homemade RV (a converted 1949 school bus). There were 12 of us altogether - Aunt Janet, Uncle George (and my four young male cousins), Mom, Dad (and me and my 3 younger sisters). We traveled around the whole country and saw wonders and sights everywhere we went in addition to camping and swimming all the while.
In 1992 my aunt and uncle hosted a family reunion with big family meals in Jupiter, FL and everyone came from all corners of the country - a splendid time was had by all.
John's and my Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Miracle was a great little getaway since we enjoy being treated like royalty by someone besides each other. After gourmet dining, seeing the musical shows in the theater was a nice outing. So was a little time with the slot machines in the casino.
We have an Internet Business that gives us all we could want and John is growing himself as a Public Speaker. As our own bosses we get to stay home or go to do traveling, when "we" like.
Today, I do my PC time and I have a ball with my friends. I could not have imagined a more idyllic life. I like saying it - "I am arrived!" and "The life and the water is fine - come on in!"
It even shows in my photos that I can't get enough of dining out, AND eating in I do pretty well in the kitchen - and it shows in my petite frame...) - I am working on cutting down portions and exercising more, but it is WORK. (8/24/08 - gonna try that EFT stuff next)
It is a joy to wake up each morning, excited to do whatever I choose for enjoying that day! How many people get to say that?
The longer I've been here on MySpace, the more I am enjoying all the new friends I am meeting. There are so many fabulous people in our world that I will never get a chance to meet them all. My friends here on MySpace are the greatest people ever (along with my family). I love you all...thank you for taking the time to check out my page.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Friendly people of all sorts. My favorite individuals are the ones who get the most out of living in as many ways as there are. I like people who have an upbeat outlook and look to moving forward.

Outgoing, people people. “Nerdy” intellectuals. People with a quirky sense of humor. People interested in making a difference on this planet. People that aren’t afraid to love. Artists splurging on their craft. People who are comfortable enough with themselves to be silly. People who easily forgive foibles. Creative problem solvers. Happy people. Fun people. Real people.

My Blog
