Experience is our best teacher and it doesn't always come from a degree or a paying job - Lisa Hammo

About Me

Myspace LayoutsMarried for 6 years, and the proud pet parent of two pugs, Tokyo & Cairo. We also have a cockatiel, and a fish.I've lived in Southern California my whole life, and wouldn't want to live any place else. This is where my family and friends are (for the most part).I try to remember the important stuff in life, and I know that I am very fortunate compared to many others out in the world. Even if I forget to express it, I am appreciative of others and of all the wonderful people in my life that I love very much. I try to remember to take the time to enjoy the simple things, as well as be grateful for all that we have.I used to work in the healthcare industry (13 years), and I really did enjoy it overall. I still keep in contact with some of my old co-workers and bosses. Now, I have basically 3 part-time jobs. I help my husband with his family drilling business, as well as work on real estate investments, and our income properties. We currently have property in Alabama, California, and New Mexico. In addition, I have a side business as a notary signing agent. We are also investors in XRtainment Zone - a fun way to exercise. But I've decided my real dream job is a pug farmer. :)

Weathering by Fleur Adcock

My face catches the wind from the snow line and flushes with a flush that will never wholly settle. Well, that was a metropolitan vanity, wanting to look young forever, to pass. I was never a pre-Raph...
