Emperial Abyss was born in 2000 with the aim to express the personality of each member through the music, and not to play any established kind of metal music. In fact the songs are born from different musical influences: black, dark, death and trash metal, and classic.
The original line up was composed by: Hemilian (voice) Nightspirit (rhythm guitar) Alessandro Binotti (lead guitar) Alice (keyboards/synth) Samuele Aiello (drum) the bass player was a guest member. After one year of activity, Samuele left the band and the new emperial drummer became Paolo Vincenzetti. This new line up had one year of activity with some live concerts, mostly in rock meetings contests as: Liberation Rock, Yearly Rock, and some other gigs.
Then started a period of problems, which brought the split among Alessandro, Paolo and the band for extra-musical business; so two new members joined the band: Catrax (bass) and Loro "The Evil" (drummer). This is the actual line up.
Emperial Abyss recorded a first demo-cd during the summer 2002, but the result was not as they expected, because of its low quality production; so they decided to record a new one during the summer 2003, and now it's ready and available.
