The Common Grave debut album, "Il male di vivere", is an ambitious and profound concept album about the "spleen", the suffering of everyday life. It’s possible to consider a long suite of 65 minute, divided in 8 long chapters, where all tracks are linked together (this means no silence between each tracks) and where there's a perfect equilibrium between dark black metal, avantgarde touches and acoustic passages. An imaginary journey between early Shining, Forgotten Tomb and even Drudkh. A complex album that unveils itself listening after listening, offering many moments of rare beauty.

Acclaimed as one of the brighter new comers of 2007, Vhernen is back with the first highly anticipated album. "Vhernen" include 6 new tracks for more than 55 minutes of funeral black metal, following the roots of the previous work but improving the style and the sound towards something more personal and intimist, more atmospheric with a mature songwriting that in this opus has put in prominence a massive use of his classic electric cello and orchestral harp, to create austere and mystic ambiances. A noble and eclectic piece of extreme art. No need to say that one more time Vhernen will enchant who is looking for a personal concept of black metal and for a music that live in a proper dimension.

Den Saakaldte is the new band from Sykelig that include Kvarforth (Shining, Diabolicum) on vox, Sykelig (ex-Naer Mataron, Paradigma) on guitars, Seidemann (1349, Pantheon I) on bass guitar, S. Winter (Aeternus, Forlorn, Eld, ex-Gehenna) on drums and Jormundgand (Dodheimsgard) ..boards/effects. The first Den Saakaldte release "Øl, mørke og depresjon" is a killer piece of sick and depressive black metal music, where there's space for aggression and brutality but also for dark atmospheres and ancient feelings. Mainly inspired by old Gorgoroth, Ulver from Vargnat era, Burzum but also with influences from Thorns and even My Dying Bride. Old fashioned tunes!
