Upbeat music combined with poetic and 'pissed off' lyrics give them something extraordinary. They are a five piece Indie band from Hull that formed in March 05. Band members include Dave (Vocals) Matt (Lead Guitar) Alex (Rhythm Guitar) Karl (Bass) Ollie (Drums). This has been a busy year for the GST Cardinals constantly gigging up and down the country adding to their fanbase. They have already played live on BBC Radio, headlined the Newcastle MTV2 outdoor festival, had a successful tour in Germany, played some of the major summer festivals, supported the likes of The Holloways, The Fratellis and have also been on tour with the Towers of London. The band has recently picked up management and we are arranging a UK tour in February 2008. Please check our gig listings to see if you can make any of the dates. For any gig bookings please contact Vince at [email protected] are a very exciting young band with a lot of energy, which is reflected in their fresh sound and staggering stage performance. The songs are written by Dave Sinclair (lead singer), Matt Robinson (lead guitarist). A band not to miss be sure to see these lads when there next in your territory!“The most promising young band I’ve seen live for a very long time”…..UK Bands.net“GST Cardinals are going to be huge! the lads have got everything: the looks, the songs and the image. Their live set knocks you for six “…..The Crack, Newcastle“The stage appearance tonight was truly impressive. These guys are living it, and alongside this fact are lovely guys who like to party. GST took to the stage and really owned this night, mouths were dropping left right and centre at the quality of their songs. If we were in a band we'd be thinking 'we wish our songs were as good'. Music with a little venom and the charisma dripping out of the mouth and connecting with the audience. If they play the rest of their tour like they did today someone will see their potential to make a lot of money. You'll see these at one of our monopoly slots in the New Year.”…..London 2 Leicester Promo“GST Cardinals are such a fine act that we're looking at getting involved with them. We're not bothered if someone sees this and then makes a move on them because we think it would be an injustice to let their music not be heard. Sure they need new recordings as their music currently recorded is not quite right, but anyone that heard this Hull 5 piece tonight was again in awe of their songs and wild natural and carefree performance. This was supported by venue staff and the sound engineer. Watch this space as 2008 could be their year. These guys are prepared to sleep in their van and these times will be remembered as good memories of when they start to become successful. Go see them on the small stages while you can because the laws of gravity will ensure they are famous”.....www.thetubeclub.co.ukGOD SAVE THE CARDINALS!
