Cute MySpace LayoutsI am a serious but kind woman. I love my family, children and I love life. I have been in many situations where life could have been taken away with a wink of an eye. Car accidents, surgeries, and so much more. However, through it all, God has watched over me. He has guided me and given me the discernment to see what is for me cannot be taken away for me.Keeping it real, I used to be real flip at the mouth and quick to fight. No doubt. If I felt my family or the people I loved were threatened, I'd be the first on the battlefield. No questions asked just swinging fists or whatever was in reach. I've grown but I must admit, every now and then, the flip mouth comes out but it takes a lot to get me to go there.Now as my crew and I get a little older but still looking younger than ever, we understand that it takes a village to raise a child. To raise a family. We all have a child somewhere deep down inside of us so we are never too old or young to learn. We have to listen to learn. We have to learn to grow. We have to learn to be forgiving because it is so much easier to be vengeful. But trust. You do reap what you so. So sit back and just watch. You will see who is for you and against you. And when you see who is against you, don't be sad. Don't be upset. Just be thankful you found out now and not later because people come in your life for a season. A reason and a lifetime. In between there are a lot of good byes. So as you say goodbye... don't turn back. Just hold up your head and live with integrity. Don't bad chat or back chat... It will all reveal itself in the end. Just be greatful that those who remain in your life are there and the one's you left behind are gone. Dead weight holds you back and holds you down.As my cousin Ann would say - No dead weight in 2008 As Crazee would say - Why are you still here. You are invading my personal space. Support when you don't even know you need it. Look out when you didn't know you needed to be looked out for. Hold you up when you are too weak to hold up yourself.My crew is an extenstion of my family and I will NEVER let them go. They are there for life and I love them for life. For who they are. Unconditionally. Yes. Without condition.Now I have to big up my man for life.. Merciless...He heard me sing at Carifest and from that day the bond began. He took me from day one and gave me direction. I was nervous.. All I wanted to do was sing. I would always say - Lenny, I don't want to talk.. I just want to sing.. Now you have to fight for the mic once I get it. All the music... All the collabs.. DVD's, road trips.. boy.. ya mumma would be proud - making me ginger tea with a hotel coffee pot. Praying by my bed side when I was sick. Finally realizing that I am all woman but when it comes to battle, man, woman or child - I get down for mines... Remember Houston.. Remember West Palm..
