decoi is an experimental electronic jazz group that is making reverberations felt across the land. Drawing on a fresh sound palette of acoustic, analog and digital, decoi forges an exciting new genre that blends electric jazz with electronica.
The members thrive on the spirit of free improvisation, creating bold, dynamic compositions in the moment which defy categorization and span genres including 1970s Jazz / Fusion, Electronic Music, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Funk, Progressive Jazz / Rock, Dub / Reggae, Avant-Garde and World Music.
The energy is always high with thought provoking ideas, a unique rhythmic sensibility and melodic soloing. It is jazz from another planet.
