Music:

Jazz, R&B, neo-soul, Hip-hop, some rap music, old school joints, blues, some classical music and those serious fresh to death love songs from the early 1900s to present. I can deal with some rock music too.

Movies:

Brown Sugar, Love Jones, American Gangster, Rosewood, Panther, Million Dollar Baby, Girl Fight, Face Off, Across 110th Street, Van Wilder, Deuce Bigealow, This Christmas, Tyler Perry's movies and plays, Boondock Saints, The Spook Who Sat By the Door, The Breakup, James Bond series, Mission Impossible series, Die Hard series and How High.

Television:

CSI, Dexter, Baby's Story, Emeril Live, Paula Deen, Barefoot Contessa, When the Levees Broke: A Spike Lee Documentary, 24, Maury, Days of Our Lives, Wolf's Reign, 30-Minute Meals, Steve Wilkos Show, News and much more.

Books:

...there is a difference between being convinced and being stubborn. I’m not certain what the difference is, but I do know that if you butt your head against a stone wall long enough, at some point you realize the wall is stone and that your head is flesh and blood. -Maya Angelou

Heroes:

My dysfunctional family gives me hope and purpose on my future; the man above who give me a part of Himself when I look at my reflection in the mirror; ancestors who paved the way for me to be here and negatives in life to help me look towards all positive things. People like my fourth grade teacher are my role models because I gave many of these teachers in grade school so much crap for so little money. I know now because I used to work for the State (and they don't pay shit). Surprisingly, people who I dislike but can no longer call my enemies: Even those who do the most harm in the slightest of ways can teach you something. All negative things has some type of positive in it but we have to know how to filter it out; this is considered to be the utmost constructive criticism.
