Life is so good right now! I love my life. Every last little thing is coming up Aces. My friends are the most fascinating lovely people I could hope for. My family is healthy. I love my job. I'm a counselor at a rehab in Malibu. It's a miracle factory. Seeing the light turn on behind a kids eyes is pure joy. We focus on teenagers so that means As Rec leader, I get to play all day everyday. I get paid to do yoga, I get to learn how to surf. I get paid to meditate. And the kids teach me so much more thasn I teach them... (mostly becuase I've learned how to listen.) Speaking of teaching, I also teach a casual firespinning class on monday nights in Noho. You should come. Apparently you can make a living doing what you love. This life has been strange, but now I see why. To quote U2, "I am not afraid of anything in this world, there's nothing you can throw at me that I haven't already heard". I've been though the ringer and came out so much the stronger for it. Now I'm ready to play again.. And hopefully by doing so, help change the world. Here's some vids of playing with fire.
