Old Man George

Feels weird about the whole thing.

About Me

Here's the deal. I'm from a little town called Graham, Texas. I spent most of my early years trying to figure out what to do with my life. I went to college, got bitten by the music bug, quit school, and played in a bunch of amazingly crappy bands until I got sober in 1997. Around that time I met my wife and started a band called Little Grizzly .
In 2003 I decided that it was time to finish the degree I had began 14 years earlier, so I went back to school. Initially, I chose a degree in Art History because it was the quickest and most painless way to a BA, but amusingly enough, I ended up quite fond of it as a field of study. I officially received my MA in Art History from UNT this August. I am currently teaching Art Appreciation and Art History at NCTC in Gainsesville, Tx.
Little Grizzly broke up in May, 2004 because of careers, wives, and higher education, but I still play solo occasionally, and am also working on a solo CD.
