Avant Electric Pop Non-Stop!

About Me

Formed by Bk13 and Spanna in 1997, an experimental psychedelic electronic audio sampling duo from the ashes of previous band, dub disco progrockers Eggg. First live performance at the original Vortex jazz club in Stoke Newington. This was a chance to introduce the then new member Alien E.P, on therimen duities. The gig was comprised of an evening of non-stop electronic music which included bookend DJ's with a live 50 minute continuious set. Spanna then on lead vocal, whilst sharing guitar, synths and programming duties with BK13.Since that time we have performed with several different line ups. From art installation, cut-ups & electronic instrumental work to darker industrial electro-rock post-punk, we were lucky enough to have the Godfather of Post-Punk, Keith Levene performing and expanding our sonic knowledge. Alien E.P has recently left the band. With the current line up we are enjoying another new phase, with energies leaning towards a more new wave pop sound, which still retains Plakka groop ethos of experimentation in electric and electronic sounds. ENJOY
