Kimba the White Lion (AKA Leo)

Hi there! The name is Leo, but you can call me Kimba! You may have heard of me, and you may not, but for those who haven't, I'm Emperor of this Jungle, as my parents, Eliza and Panja (known to some as Snowene and Ceaser) were killed off by human poachers. But I have many friends who I love, so I never feel lonely. Oh, and please, don't call me anything honorific like "Sir Kimba", "Leo-Sama", "King Kimba" or "Your majesty"-- or anything like that! Just Kimba is fine. :)
Seeing that this man-thing called MySpace is so popular now, I decided it was high time I got one of my own! I'm a pretty down to earth kind of guy, even if my dreams are high! I believe that communication and understanding is the key to peace. I decided this MySpace thing is all the better to keep my cause alive. ^_^ I look forward to making many friends here, human and animal alike! I do believe that while we're different, our hearts really do beat as one. It IS possible for us to get along, if we can learn to understand each others hearts and communicate.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm an orphan-- My father, Panja, was the emporer of the jungle- he didn't like the status quo (survival of the fittest)-- the whole Circle of Life thing is SICK! So Panja saught to change things, but no one knew an answer to the problem. Eating meat is the only thing the carnivores knew, yet Panja wanted the herbavores to live in peace without fear. My mother told me all about his philosophies after I was born on a ship heading to Europe, and I agreed with her's and Panja's ideas- but I only knew her for two months before she lost her life in the shipwreck. I survived, and with the help of fish, birds and butterflies, I swam back to land, but I didn't arrive in Africa as I thought I had.
At first I wanted nothing to do with humans, but Roger and his uncle, Mr.Pompous, changed my attitude... They treated me as one of their own and I grew learning their ways. They took me back to the Jungle where Roger stayed as a Ranger and I learned to speak Human. ^_^ I saw for myself what needed to be changed, and I decided it was high time to rewrite the Laws of the Jungle and share what I had learned living in the human world with my friends in the Jungle.
Making many friends and fighting much opposition, I started a school for the younger animals, a restraunt and sought to find a meat substitute for me and the other carnivores. ^_^
It hasn't all been easy- I've faced droughts, famines, plagues, naturial disasters, evil plots to de-throne me, stampedes, poachers, and then some! I don't like to fight, I'd much rather be friends, but I know that there are some things that are worth fighting for! Even now I have to drive the occasional human poachers out of my kingdom and free captured animals. Poachers may be a nuisance, but I manage, and I am still willing to make friends with humans. Many animals understandably are still angry with humanity- I, however, know that there are still good humans out there and I want to be friends with them. ^_^
Alright! So, now that you know a bit about me, I'd like to know about YOU! Every now and then I'll stop by again to update my profile with something new. ^_^
