I am here for Friends and Networking

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If you want to know anything about me, it's probably easier to ask.

I am a ref for the Gem City Roller Girls. Yes, it's roller derby and yes, it kicks ass. I love traveling to watch derby bouts and watch far too much of it on youTube.

I am a musician, now with a band, a sometimes photographer and part-time writer, music reviews, mainly, however, I have started to create a game and am writing story lines to support it. Yea, I have a lot going on.

I write software for a living but have become disenchanted with it in the last year due to current work circumstances. While I'm not going to write a new operating system, I am nevertheless really good at it and miss being able to really create, design and code some really cool stuff. *Update* I'm being forced to reconcile this now.

Check out:
Music reviews and other whatnot.
You know you love us.

Music:

I could go on for hours. Yes, I listen to all of the above regularly and no, I'm not just throwing names out there for the hell of it. Really, just check out my last.fm profile. It's a little skewed ( I have more Cure songs than any other band ) but it gives you a good idea. Plus, it has all the new stuff that I haven't updated this list with.

Books:

Neverwhere 1984 The Illuminatus The Da Vinci Code Towing Jehovah Crying of Lot 49 The Handmaids Tale Oliver Twist A Clockwork Orange Illusions Atlas Shrugged

Heroes:

Everyone, I suppose. The better side of human nature. Anyone who reinforces my belief that we are all capable of anything. I believe that we are all given the opportunity to be heros once in our life. It's up to us to decide to act or observe.

Asking me who my heros are is pretty irrelevant:

What will you do when your time comes?

My Blog
