About Me

This song cycle started in 1993 when the first electronic instrument, an Ensonic Mirage sampling keyboard from the 80's, was introduced to recording situation at ZH27. The resultant music searches for effect and the way sound can roll over you like a nice drink. Though my influences from the new wave/punk era show through, this is no attempt for me to ride someone else's horse into town. I do what feels right. Only afterwards do I even recognize my own influences, or friends will suggest things I hadn't thought of. 1996 was my first banner year for Bodycocktail releases: 24! A record number of girlfriends and a record number of Bodycocktail releases was no mere coincidence, I promise. Then after getting my Tascam Pocketstudio in 2004 I opened a new era of productivity. Since then 24 releases a year has somehow become the 'norm'.
I keep the same 4 songs up here at myspace but I'm contantly creating new works. The Bodycocktail blog at blogspot is always updated with new release covers, song titles and info
RSS feed available for those who want to stay on top of it all.
