Learning how to bend:)

About Me

I was born in Longview Texas on July 5th 1976. Dont ask where I grew up cause I will have way to many answers. I finally got to make the move to Nashville. I will always consider Carthage Texas my home. Its where my Grandpa is buried, thats enough for me. He is the best man any kid could hope to have growing up. I got a late start in music, I started learing to play the guitar in 1996 while I was in the Airforce in California. (Thanks mom for my first pawn shop guitar) Started writing and playing for real around the age of 25. Joined my first band "High Noon" when I was 27. After 6 months decided to start "The Mobile Homiez" with Scottie, Allan and Joey . Our first gig together was at the battle of the bands and The Westerner. We got 3rd place out of 22 bands. Now I think we could take em all!!!!:) I won the Colgate Country Showdown for Salt Lake City last year and have gone on to open for Joe Diffie, Wade Hayes, Jesse Dayton, Moot Davis, Hacienda Brothers and more. My first trip to Nashville I had the amazing chance to co-write "Dealin With Lonely" with my song writing hero Monty Powell. I still love the stage but now mainly focus on songwriting.
