Amileigha & Mike come from very different musical backgrounds, but when they perform together their sound is undeniable. Mike hails from Atlanta, GA, while Amileigha will always call the small town of Hughesville, MO home. Somehow they found one another in Milwaukee, WI, and since have created a buzz in the short time they been performing together.
Though Amileigha Blue has been singing her whole life she was headed towards a career in the Air Force when unforeseen events charted a different course. It was then that some musician friends helped her discover a passion for performing. Since then she's been sharing her voice with audiences across the Midwest.
Mike Bustin has been rooted as a musician since he blew the dust off of his mother's neglected acoustic guitar at the age of 15. Playing different roles in many bands throughout high school and college; as a guitar player, a backup singer, and even a drummer, Mike realized that smaller was sometimes better. So for the past eight years has been performing as a solo acoustic act.
Looking to break out of each other's comfort zones is what brought Amileigha & Mike together. And being influenced by countless musical genres allows them to entertain audiences of all walks of life. Their clever combination of country, folk, soul, pop, and of course rock & roll is sure appease the pure music fan in us all.
