Whiskey Inspired Rockabilly

About Me

Fast, Loud, Rhythmic, And always turning heads. Not just another hod rod band, but a group of musicians who call themselves the 454's. Since 2004, they've ripped, roared, and shred through every backyard, bar, and club they've ever hit. Some members have come and gone, but the spirit has always been pure Rock N Roll!
Their influences of Rock N Roll, Rockabilly, Punk, Latin Ranchera, and country are very apparent in the music they write and the performances they put on. They love throwing a couple of familiar songs into their mix from Elvis Presley, To Johnny Cash, To Some Stray Cats, others that may come as a surprise. And yet, they still play music their way, their terms, in spite of what everybody else has been doing.
There is truth in the lyrics, Something we can all relate to in each song. You'll quickly find yourself singing along to their rockin songs. Over time these boys have crafted and mastered the art of a live show and each one becomes a human highlight reel. They've quickly gained a reputation, not just for their stunning and energetic performances, but for swinging a shot of whiskey faster than you can draw your gun!
If you want to see a band that will get your engines revved up like an old classic hot rod, you have found your band!
The 454's have been crowd pleasers at such shows and venues as House Of Blues (Anaheim), Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, BB King's (Universal City), California Speedway (Nascar) The Derby (Hollywood) The Blue Cafe (Long Beach) Safarfi Sam's (Hollywood) Bunkhouse Saloon (Las Vegas), The Hully Gully (Downey) Spike's (Rosemead), The Juke Joint (Anaheim) The Anarchy Library (Downey), The Doll Hut (Anaheim), Club London (Hollywood), as well as many other private parties and events.
They've also been featured on the same bill with some great acts including: ZZ Top, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, The Legendary Shack Shakers, The Chop Tops, Big Sandy, The Lords Of Altamont, Mad Marge & The Stonecutters, The Hangmen, Los Creepers, Zombie Ghost Train, Gamblers Mark, Pep Torres, Pachuco Jose, No Dice, The Honkys, Moonlight Cruisers, Bad Luck Bandits, Deadbeat Sinatra, The Tequila Worms, The Wise Guys, & the list really goes on and on. The 454's are also been featured in the past on the 2008 Varga calendar and CD compilation and have also been featured at the LA Burlesque shows as the official band.
Come out and see the 454's perform their favorites, as well as a few surprise covers. This is a band that will keep you entertained from start to finish!
We are always looking for bookings so don't be too shy to ask!
