About Me

"The GUV'NORS aren't your typical streetpunk/Oi! band. Of course there are gleaming elements of that in their style and sound but they have a really different approach to the usual run-of-the-mill Oi! bands being churned out. They are big-riff rock n rollers and glam punks who blend all of these sounds together to take the genre to a different and much more fun level." *** You take; equal amounts of 70's glam- and punk-rock and 80's Oi! and rock, then you add a bit of today's NY hardcore attitude, a tablespoon of football, several pints of lager and a gallon of sweat. Sprinkle a bit of the best good ol' metal on top, and watch it EXPLODE!!! The Guv'nors play crisp clean noise that just wont quit. Their songs are sure to leave a lasting impression on any listener. It has the ability to be added to the list of all time greats!!!
