The 2 opening bands for the PUNK-AND-BILLY BASH! #23 on November 1st are finally confirmed. Opening act will be Copenhagen based ROVERS AHEAD - the first of its kind on the Danish scene. They mix Irish folk music with street punk, but there are also traces of Hank Williams & Johnny Cash hidden in their songs. Though the band is hardly a year old, they have played several convincing shows and with members from bands such as Pilgrimz, Skalar & The Understudies, they are all experienced musicians from the Danish underground. Second act is local punk rockers PRANKSTERS. The band recently sent out their debut album through Heptown Records and have supported bands like Flogging Molly and Good Charlotte within the past year.
PRANKSTERS have been around for 5 years and mix melodic punk rock with skatepunk having references to bands like Ramones, Bad Religion and NOFX. Energetic, tight and humorous.
