Not me; rather, us. We are SUMMERS CIRCLE - an organization, founded by Carlos J. Summers and Deanna Lea. Deanna, being a TBI survivor, and Carlos, her caregiver, partner, and life companion. Working over the years together, they have developed a unique study for learning how to survive after a TBI and how to communicate with, assist, and facilitate a TBI survivor. Life is never the same after a TBI, and having to relearn basic skills that many people take for granted is a serious issue once an individual is beyond the learning stages of development. SUMMERS CIRCLE is forging the way to a new world of hope, dreams, unlimited possibilities for individuals with reduced mental capacities. This is a work in progress, an ongoing study, a personal and in-depth view of brain injuries and how to live with them. Join us on our visionary journey; all are welcome, and this includes you.
