playing with ELBOW - Glastonbury 2008 - One Day Like This

with Mark Ronson at the Brits 2008

by the time i wake up, it's about time to call it a day, but when i do make it out the door, i quite like it actually... outdoor stuff and anything fast, like skiing, paganini, bartok, cycling in rush hour, fast cars (rear wheel drive pls!)... fishing, architecture, gardening (slightly obsessed with getting my lawn to golf course standards)... typical cancarian so i'm told, but i don't consider myself any star sign... sorry, i'm a non-believer in spirits and that.. you live, you die... 'life is empty and meaningless'... (so you can can fill it with whatever you want, and you can make it mean what you want...... i love my home....antiques, family heirloom hand-me-down stuff, and most importantly, my family & extensions there of, and my friends.....and the round table in the kitchen, where most nights, you'll find me chilling with the regulars & whoever's passing through the Manic Mansions (ollywood).

I'd like to meet:

...all of you, in person, all at once, right now.
check this out!!! FISHING in Oban, Scotland apr07fishing in the Lake District with mr.b.

The Big Bang Theory.. from Wikipedia: The Big Bang Theory is the dominant scientific theory about the origin of the universe. According to the big bang, the universe was created sometime between 10 billion and 20 billion years ago from a cosmic explosion that hurled matter and in all directions. In 1927, the Belgian priest Georges Lemaître was the first to propose that the universe began with the explosion of a primeval atom. His proposal came after observing the red shift in distant nebulas by astronomers to a model of the universe based on relativity. Years later, Edwin Hubble found experimental evidence to help justify Lemaître's theory. He found that distant galaxies in every direction are going away from us with speeds proportional to their distance. The big bang was initially suggested because it explains why distant galaxies are traveling away from us at great speeds. The theory also predicts the existence of cosmic background radiation (the glow left over from the explosion itself). The Big Bang Theory received its strongest confirmation when this radiation was discovered in 1964 by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, who later won the Nobel Prize for this discovery.Although the Big Bang Theory is widely accepted, it probably will never be proved; consequentially, leaving a number of tough, unanswered questions.http://liftoff.msfc.nasa.gov/academy/universe/b_ba ng.html
