Mamisa String Quartet

Three of the members of the Mamisa String Quartet Maria, Sandra and Michelle, have been playing together all of our lives as we are sisters. Roisin Nic Athlaoich (otherwise know as 'the referee' - and believe me she gets plenty of practice!!) plays viola. Collectively we have performed with artists such as Jamiroquai, Ronan Keating, Shayne Ward, Marti Pellow, Cliff Richard, Leann Rimes, Enrique Iglesias, Belinda Carlise, Declan O'Rourke, Paddy Casey, Daniel O’Donnell and Rebecca Storm, and toured with Boyzone in 1996. We are currently recording Paddy Casey's new album and are on tour with Tommy Fleming, which concludes with a gig in Portugal shortly....bring it on!!! We're all rockers at heart and love doing the big gigs and festivals, but we generally play anything from Bach to the Beatles.
