Twenty year old Jennifer Boyce has, in her short term on the live circuit, already gone about making a steady name for herself as a performer and song-writer. Occasionally bassing and keying for other acts and side projects (disguised as a poodle rocker), Jennifer Boyce the solo artist appears as a sweet, minute young lady hammering and gliding her fingers repremandingly and gently across the keys of her stage piano, and tearing the sky to pieces with her surprisingly powerful and dry-melodic voice.
Jennifer's delightfully quirky and sincere personality wafts through all of her songs, adding a unique and tasty zing to her jazzy numbers, and a slight tug-at-the-heart-strings of her more sombre tracks. Consistently, audiences in and around Brisbane, where this songstress is based, have all been struck by her delightful charm, dry-quipping wit, and heart-felt, high-impact performances which always manage to leave you with a dirty big smile on your face and a light feeling in your tummy.

"Hello ladles and jellymen. Think of a flower in a field. Think of a lover departing on a train, torn 'twixt love and life in a romantic black and white universe. Think of a child letting go of a red balloon at a fair. Now think of Jennifer Boyce. Now I have you in the right mood, allow her to serenade you with thoughtful ballads, sublime lullabies, and sassy toe-tapping numbers influenced by the jazz. Armed with Angelic voice and keyboard, if Jennifer were a colour you would paint your room in her." - Dr Luke Patrick Constable, Lord of sexyness and parachutes. Actually, just parachutes. Or just Luke. I'm not a certified doctor.
