Planting seeds for a Hawai'i that is growing more aloha through all that we do. Being open to what we are going to learn through this project. Gaining knowledge and making better choices for our future generations. Cultivating aloha.
All who are eager to work as a team to perpetuate LIVING ALOHA by practicing it in all that they do. Organizations that are eager to work with other related organizations regardless of cultural, spiritual, political, educational... differences and help this problem of homelessness as well as many others such as substance abuse, domestic and pyschological abuse, scarcity of resources, etc...I DON'T want to hear "Our church already does that once a month. We already do that." This to me is practicing exclusivity and superiority over other organizations. This type of attitude does not go far. It is bashing and makes no sense when we are trying to do the work we are doing.I WOULD LOVE to see everyone getting over their issues about what others are not doing and realize that everyone is doing their best in that moment- and things CAN be better.WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER & NO ONE SHOULD BE TACKLING ALL THESE SOCIAL STRESSES ALONE... ESPECIALLY THE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. HAWAI'I PONO works TOGETHER and everyone is welcome as long as you are trying to make a positive impact through whatever it is you are doing.
The music? Our voices, singing hopes & dreams of a better HAWAI'I to other members of the community. And they are harmonizing to our call by supporting this movement. Making Aloha.

You mean, making phone calls, reaching out to the community to gain support by passing out our letters to share our plans with them, returning phone calls, sharing ideas about how we can weave a tighter community together and addressing this problem that is SO huge. We, the more fortunate, may sometimes assume that THEY are the problem- but THAT mentality IS the problem. Because the problem started long before. Made with Aloha. Now Streaming LIVE through Yahoo!

Those who are moving forward and towards Malama, carrying the wisdom of our elders and respecting Ancient HAWAI'I for what it was, as it is Now, with a vision for the Future and the generations to come.
